Jon Feliciano is one of over a dozen unrestricted free agents for the Buffalo Bills set to have their contracts expire upon the start of the new league year in March.

While Feliciano may not be the team’s top priority among the group of 14 free agents, he’s one of the most prominent names the Bills will need to make decisions on in the coming months.

As far as the veteran offensive lineman is concerned, he doesn’t see himself playing elsewhere next year.

In an interview with Tim Graham and Matthew Fairburn of The Athletic, Feliciano expresses a desire to remain with the Bills next season.

Honestly, I don’t see myself going anywhere,” Feliciano said, via Ryan Talbot of “I love Buffalo and I know how they feel about me. I’m going to stay optimistic and I don’t like change. Honestly, when I think of next season, I see myself as a Bill. We’ll see what happens, but I think both sides want the same thing so it’s just a matter of time, I think.”

Feliciano has started 25 games over the past two season for Buffalo after a four-year stint with the Oakland Raiders. He was also the team’s Ed Block Courage Award winner.

  1. I hope he stays on with Buffalo. He’s solid, versatile enough to play center when needed, plays downright mean football and the players and fans love him.

  2. Yes, this is exactly the kind of middle of the road player we need here in buffalo. And he’s dumb enough to say in an interview that he doesn’t want to leave so we know he’ll resign for minimal cash. What a negotiator!!

  3. Buffalo is about 2 million over the projected cap right now. They will have to either cut or restructure some of the following: John Brown (saves 6m), Jerry Hughes (saves 5m), Quinton Jefferson (saves 8m), Vernon Butler (saves 5.8m), or Jordan Poyer (saves 3.8m).

They could get about 20 million by cutting those guys, but then they’d have to replace them. They did well without Brown for most of the year. Maybe let Hughes go and let Epenesa take over? If you cut Jefferson, theres no dead money and you save 8 million. I would think hes gone.

  4. Bills won’t cut Hughes. He’s too integral to the culture and team. It wouldn’t surprise me to see Butler, Jefferson, Brown, and Addison all get cut though. I’m not sure what Star Lotulelei’s contract looks like after sitting out the season but if cutting him saves money, I could see that too.

  5. Hughes should stay. Unfortunately, value and depth wise, I would not expect John Brown back at his current contract
