Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady played all 20 games this regular season and postseason, but it turns out that he’s not 100 percent healthy.

Brady will have a minor surgical procedure on his knee, according to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times.

Bucs coach Bruce Arians described as “a clean up.”

Brady was healthy throughout the season, never even appearing on the Bucs’ injury report. It’s not clear when he injured his knee or what the specific nature of the injury is, but it has been reported that Brady suffered the injury on the football field, not when the Bucs were celebrating on Wednesday, when Brady was having a lot of fun.

The 43-year-old Brady said he’s not considering retirement and is expecting to have a big year in 2021.

  1. if this was mahommes everyone would be saying SEE I THAT’S WHY HE LAID AN EGG IN SUPER BOWL. TB12 just deals with this stuff drama free…AND WINS

  2. it was a great career tom! grats on your 2 legit super bowls! Brees will come back and take the TD pass lead!

  3. He’s losing pliability I guess. It is kind of funny, of all the records he owns – quarterback rushing records are just not on the list. He could have run for just a couple in every SB game and he would have owned that one too.

  4. No such thing when it comes to a knee. I know they aren’t mere mortals like the rest us but a scope and clean is still very invasive and painful.

QB sneaks on 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1

I think he is by far the GOAT in that rushing category. Not a super-sexy running stat, but one that WINS.

Big Ben needs to get his hefty tail on the TB12 diet #7 can barely move around.

Big Ben is on a strict offseason cheeseburger and milkshake diet.

  7. While he’s rehabbing this will give him time to focus on his other role in the organization – GM.

  8. He probably sprained it during his walk off the boat after the boat parade. Mas tequila!

Greatest quarterback to ever play in the YOU CANT LAY A FINGER ON THE QUARTERBACK ERA !
Players are bigger and faster today than past eras, by far. Most intelligent fans agree that great players would be great in any era

  10. That’s what they’re saying, but he’s actually having his foot removed from his mouth.
