The Denver Broncos have interest in bringing in former Chicago Bears cornerback Kyle Fuller, according to Troy Renck of The Denver Channel.

Fuller spent four years playing for current Broncos head coach Vic Fangio when he was the defensive coordinator of the Bears from 2015-2018. Fuller made the Pro Bowl for the first time and was named a first-team All-Pro in 2018 during Fangio’s final season running the defense in Chicago. He had a league-leading seven interceptions and 21 passes defended during that season for the Bears and followed it up with a second Pro Bowl trip in 2019.

The Broncos have already added Ronald Darby on a three-year deal this week to help bolster their cornerback spot. Bryce Callahan is returning to the roster as well and would give the Broncos a trio of corners that could feel quite comfortable with should they be able to get Fuller to Denver and reunite with Fangio.

  1. He seems less of a playmaker than he’s been but he still looks productive. Add him to Darby, Callahan, MO and that could be solid improvement. Question is do you then draft a CB at 9 like most mocks have Denver doing, picking Farley or Surtain? Or do you go with a LB (who can also cover TEs)? Or possibly a RT for a replacement for the ever-disappointing Juwan James.

  2. So, it’s going to be the Chicago Broncos. Pace keeps letting go our best players and not adding anyone. He has screwed us over so many time. Maybe I’ll start cheering for the Broncos.

  3. I still cannot believe the Bears let him go, unless they feel he can be replaced in the draft.

I can handle us being a bad team, but we’ve reached a Jets/pre 2020 Browns level of incompetence these past two off seasons

  5. Just when you think the Bears couldn’t make any worse decisions that they did prior to this. The bar just keeps getting lower and lower.
