The Buccaneers have officially announced the return of another member of their Super Bowl champions.

Defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh is the latest of the team’s free agents to opt for another year in Tampa. Wide receiver Chris Godwin signed his franchise tag while defensive end Shaq Barrett, linebacker Lavonte David, tight end Rob Gronkowski, running back Leonard Fournette, kicker Ryan Succop, and others have agreed to new contracts.

It’s the third straight year that Suh has agreed to a one-year deal with the Buccaneers. It will be his 12th NFL season overall.

Suh started every game for the Bucs last season and recorded 44 tackles, six sacks, and a forced fumble in the regular season. He added 10 tackles and 1.5 sacks in the postseason.

  1. This is another good resigning by the Bucs. They will be a tough out this season.

  2. This is excellent news. Suh has been very consistent for the Bucs. Particularly as a run stuffer. This is good news.

  3. No amount of money will get them to a victory in this upcoming SB. They have the band back together, so what?

The Bucs are chasing, what I consider, Unattainable. Not going to happen.

Save this for February. I’ve tried crow, tastes like chicken. I’ll eat it again.

  4. Brady is locked and loaded for #8 in his way to creating a 3rd dynasty….. Meanwhile Pats fans are still contemplating why BB benched Malcom Butler and gave away a very winnable SB

  5. Two years of solid performance–and without stomping on anybody. What’s not to like?

I’d be shocked if Tampa wins back to back. No way it happens.

There’s simply “no way”? They’re as good a bet as any right now. C’mon.

Yes, it’s hard winning Super Bowls—only one team gets to be champ. What I’m hearing from you is you don’t want it to happen because you don’t like Brady. A little irrational, but ok.

If the Titans were smart enough to land him last year, you might be enjoying a title right now.
