Damon Harrison: I’ve spoken to teams, nothing real has materialized

USA TODAY Sports

The 2021 season would be defensive tackle Damon Harrison‘s 10th year in the NFL, but he needs to find a place to play in order to keep snacking on opposing players.

Harrison signed with the Seahawks last October and played in six games before asking to be placed on waivers after falling out of the rotation. He was claimed by the Packers to give them more depth for the end of the regular season and playoffs, but hasn’t found any solid offers so far this offseason.

“I’m a free agent waiting on the right opportunity,” Harrison said, via Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle. “We have some interest on teams and are having some conversations. Nothing real has materialized yet and I’m not in a rush to make a decision.”

Harrison has also played for the Jets, Giants, and Lions since entering the league in 2012 as an undrafted free agent from William Penn.

  1. Seahawks were patient with him getting him on the roster after he’d been out awhile. First time he heads to the bench, he wants out. Thanks for the 6 games, but other than that, have a happy career. Hope the Hawks don’t bring you back. Want someone that’s all-in and not just looking to coast their way to a SB.

  2. Burn enough bridges and nobody wants you. The only way he will be happy is if he signs with a team that is two minutes away from winning the Superbowl. Signed with Hawks and lost his spot and wanted out. Then Pack and thought he had a good shot at the bowl, Nope. NFL teams should lay off the Snacks.

  3. Vikings should sign him. They tried to sign him to a free agent contract coming out of college. He went to the Jets instead.

  4. Seahawks are about as tolerant of player experiments as it gets. E.g., George Fant; L.J. Collier; Malik McDowell…

  5. I wonder if his commitment is still there. You have to be willing to work harder than the guy next to you, and I’m just not sure he’s ready to do that.

  6. After taking Kenny Clarks starting spot i figured Ted would extend him? 🤔

  7. Remember when the emoji troll was saying the signing of Snacks was the type of move that would propel GB to a title lol. 🤡

    Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

The Packers went to the NFCCG two years in a row, after you predicted no better than 7-9 and Rodgers falling off the edge of the earth. Yes, I believe you said the earth was flat.

Meanwhile, the Vikings, who are better than the Packers in all respects, were eliminated from postseason contention before Thanksgiving.

Shouldn’t your whines be thrown in that direction?

  9. Awww poor Stella resorting to outright lies and fight picking. Cheer up chubby your team had a good year last year.
