Miami pass rusher Greg Rousseau is heading to Buffalo.

The Bills selected Rousseau with the 30th overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft.

Rousseau was an extremely productive pass rusher in 2019, recording 15.5 sacks and 19.5 tackles for loss. But he opted out of playing in 2020.

Agent Drew Rosenhaus said before the draft that he had multiple teams telling him they wanted Rousseau in the first round. Almost every team passed on Rousseau, but the Bills ended his fall.

  1. “I am not made like any of those I have seen. I venture to believe that I am not made like any of those who are in existence. If I am not better, at least I am different.”

  2. This could end up the best value pick in the first round. This guy was a victim of not playing last year. Hopefully it didnt hurt him on the field. The Bills i think stole one here at a position of need. That line could be scary good next year.

  3. Pretty thrilled. That’s as good as they could do at 30, and a perfect intersection of BPA and need.

They’re building a strong young line for the future w/ him, Oliver and Epenesa. If that side of the ball can get even close to how good the offense is right now, they’ll be a contender for many years.

  4. I will admit that this pick feels a lot like the kind of pic the old Bills would make. But they have a proven track record so hopefully it will work out. Taking a guy that has only played one season reminds me of another draft pick Arron Maybin years ago. but then again they didn’t take him 11th overall either or whatever they did back then
