  1. 1st rd (WR Again), 2nd rd. ( WR again), 3rd rd. RB, 4th Rd CB, 5th rd. Kicker, 6th rd ( Kicker}. 7th rd ( best avail QB). Great draft

  2. Of course the Raiders traded Gabe Jackson to Seattle (5th rd pick) they did not release him.

    Good job

  3. And they traded Rodney Hudson their old Center and then drafted a Center from Pitt today as well as signing Nick Martin so its a work in progeress now and Cable Guy has proved he is a great OL coach…

  4. I liked the first 3 picks, the love the name Divine Diablo but I don’t know much about him but looks good from the coverage. I don’t understand why they selected 3 safeties? There are a few holes in the roster, I was hoping for depth at more than one position. They know more than I do about the available players and team needs so I’ll have to trust them for now. Can’t wait to see some of them on the field.

One of the safeties we drafted will be playing weak side linebacker. The other two can switch between safety and cornerback as well as special teams.

  6. New defensive staff probably going to utilize the speed of safeties in some long yardage situations. Lots of flexibility with blitzes and coverage. Nothing uglier than a 300 pound defensive lineman trying to chase down a QB who escaped from the pocket, and has ten seconds to throw. Or a QB who can easily sidestep a blitzing LB. Safeties can come flying in untouched, and get to the QB before he realizes they’re coming in. They’re agile enough to make the tackle, even with some of the great athletic QB’s. This would be my idea if I had to face Mahomes twice a year. Plus, safeties are good special teams guys. But I have seen some teams put 8 DB’s on the field in sure passing situations. It’s hard for the offense to know who’s dropping, and who’s rushing.
