Ravens sign Ben Cleveland

USA TODAY Sports

The Ravens are one step closer to having their entire draft class under contract.

Offensive lineman Ben Cleveland has signed his standard four-year rookie deal, the team announced on Tuesday.

Cleveland was the 94th overall pick in the third round out of Georgia. He was a first-team All-SEC selection in 2020, playing the season at right guard. In all he appeared in 45 games for the Bulldogs over four seasons.

With Cleveland under contract, Baltimore’s only remaining unsigned player is defensive back Brandon Stephen — the team’s second third-round pick.

  1. Welcome to Baltimore Paul Bunyan! Ben Cleveland is a mountain of a man. He will be pushing people around like rag dolls. He is savage. If a fight breaks out, I would want him on my side. That’s for sure! Very excited to see the new re-tooled O-line with him, Zeitler and Villanueuva and Bradley Bozeman at center. The Ravens will stay true to their identity and run the heck out of the ball. But, they can now open it up and pass the ball with the much improved wide receiving corps. Lamar will show people that he is more than capable of putting the team on his back when he has to spread the ball. Is it football season yet???

  2. I really hope he turns out to be an All-Pro. I love his style, his size, and what he brings to the table. I just can’t wait to see him challenge Tyre Phillips for most dominating run by a Big Man.
