The Packers placed linebacker Ray Wilborn on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Saturday.

The reason for Wilborn going on the list is currently undisclosed. He may have tested positive for the virus, or he may be an unvaccinated player who came into close contact with someone who tested positive.

After going undrafted out of Ball State in 2020, Wilborn spent time with the Falcons and Steelers last year.

Wilborn signed a futures deal with the Packers in January.

  1. Smart money is on vaccinated player who tested positive for covid. Didn’t mike say all the fringe players were likely to be vaccinated? Get your popcorn ready.

  2. or he may have gotten vaccinated and still got covid

shhhh… you can’t say that! The vaccines are perfect.

  3. Only a complete moron wouldn’t get vaccinated after watching tens of thousands die and millions enter ICUs to fight for their lives.

  4. Tough to believe a fringe player fighting for a roster spot would not take the vaccine. Making an NFL roster even for 1 year can be a life changer. The minimum wage is $660,000.

Stop it. THIS country does not have a million ICU beds never mind MILLIONS.

That being said tens of thousands of elderly patients did die when The governors of the northeast and mid-alantic states moved covid infected patients into elderly assisted living facilities.
