John Harbaugh: Kevin Zeitler foot injury “doesn’t look serious”

The Ravens had an injury concern pop up on their offensive line during Tuesday’s practice, but it apparently won’t be too consequential.

Guard Kevin Zeitler left practice early with a foot injury, but shouldn’t miss much time — if any.

It doesn’t look serious, they tell me,” head coach John Harbaugh said, via Jamison Hensley of ESPN. “We’re going to protect those guys, especially the older guys in training camp, as much as we can.”

Zeitler signed a three-year deal with the Ravens in March. Entering his 10th pro season, Zeitler spent the last two seasons with the Giants where he started starting 31 of the team’s 32 games in that span. He previously was with the Browns for the 2017 and 2018 seasons. He began his career with the Bengals as the team’s 27th overall pick in the 2012 draft.

  1. I will never understand how all these guys get hurt in training camp. These guys don’t even do anything. Its like your 8th grade flag football gym class. Holy smokes the injuries are crazy for doing nothing

  2. I’m a Ravens fan but historically John always lies about the severity of injuries.

  3. Yeah, Wentz’ foot injury didn’t look serious either…..

Yep. He just did it the other day with Marquise Brown. It’s what he does.

    He’s a liar.

  5. Pretty much like Belichick. Can’t trust anything that guy says or does. That’s been proven.

  6. Next press conference, Harbaugh should show up in medical scrubs. “It doesn’t look serious”??? As much as I respect Harbaugh, he should probably not comment on injuries. How’s Hollywood Brown’s injury? Harbs “Not serious”. Hollywood is still sidelined. Harbs” It is more serious than they had told me” SMH. Just say no comment on injuries. The league does not require an injury report yet. Why play doctor?
