Patriots wide receiver N'Keal Harry got good news from tests on his shoulder today.

Harry has no structural damage and will need only rest for the shoulder injury, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

After Thursday night’s game, Harry was seen in a shoulder sling as a result of landing hard on his left shoulder when he tried to catch a deep ball from Mac Jones late in the first half.

Harry has not performed up to expectations in his first two seasons since going to the Patriots in the first round of the 2019 NFL draft, and before training camp he requested a trade. His injury may complicate any potential trade talks, but it doesn’t appear that it will affect him into the season.

  1. If he had not left his feet and caught Jones perfect pass for the walk in TD, maybe he wouldn’t have face planted. Hit both his hands.

  2. Another awful 1st rd pick by the Pats. Bill is playing chess on his Commodore while all the other GMs have PS5.

Umm, the team is loaded. Meyers and Olzcewski look great. Do you people even watch the games?

You act like BB ran over your cat and kept
    driving. It’s just creepy.

And you act and still believe Stidham and Harry will be in the hof

  5. who cares?
one attempt to catch a pass, done for the night
    please cut him
    he’s terrible

  6. It will be interesting to watch what happens. The Pats have stood by him. But the injury doesn’t bode well.

  7. This guy shows on 2 plays a game why the patriots drafted him…. If he could just show up on the other 55 other offensive snaps like that he’d be a super star

  8. My 7 year old asked me why he jumped for that ball also, and I had no explanation he is in his first year of pee wee

  9. I don’t understand a lot of people’s confusion. The Patriots aren’t trying to trade him, or they would have already accepted some worthless late round pick swap. There is no cap savings of note, as this years salary is guaranteed.
His 4th year salary is not guaranteed, so why not keep him on the roster as the #4 or 5 receiver, and see what his value is next offseason?
Sure, Belichick has had a bad history of drafting receivers. Everyone that follows football knows that. No hidden family secret. Fortunately, he atones for this weakness with other skillsets he possesses.

I think Bills first round pick was looking pretty good on that play. That was an artful throw. Powerful, deep, and dropped it right on the receivers hands. I don’t get what more you could want from him.

No, Brady did it, not Belichick.

Without Brady, no top offense with the cheap squad given Belichick. Without top offense, there would be no first round bye, wouldn’t even make to AFCCG, let alone SB. Pats would be just another Bears,

  12. This guy is another BB bust so just move on. Everybody knows BB can’t draft WR’S and has to important veterans. And BB hasn’t run over anyone’s cat that I know of.

  13. Well it’s good to know that he doesn’t have any major damage to his shoulder, Let’s be honest he’s been a non-factor the last two preseason games. when is Belicheck going to realize that this guy is a bust.

  14. May be a blessing in disguise. Harry hasn’t earned a roster spot, but he’s shown enough flashes that I’m not sure they should give up on him yet. And he’s cheap for the next 2 yrs.

It’s too bad the Pats can’t draft talented meatheads like the steelers. 2 yrs in most become a problem. Maybe the steelers can stay ahead of Cincy for 4th place.

  15. How many targets did he get in 1.75 games? He seemed non-existent anyways. Don’t know if that was because he wasn’t open, or because the game plans.

  16. Just saw the replay…Harry DID NOT need to lay out for that ball…Had he run under it he had a TD…probably would have dropped it anyway.

  17. He may hang on because of his blocking. The Patriots will be a massively unbalanced offense this year, geared to the run. Harry is a large wideout, heck he’s almost the size of a tight end. He has done a lot of blocking during the preseason.
