New England Patriots wide receiver N'Keal Harry was seen in a shoulder sling after Thursday night’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles after landing hard on his left shoulder on a play late in the first half, via Josh Tolentino of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Harry was attempting to catch a deep throw up the left sideline from Patriots rookie quarterback Mac Jones when he landed hard on his left side after being unable to corral the pass. Harry remained down on the field after the play and left the field with trainers before the rest of the team retreated to the locker room for halftime.

Harry formally requested a trade out of New England prior to the start of training camp. It’s a request the Patriots have not decided to fulfill as of yet as their former first-round pick has struggled to establish himself through his first two seasons in the NFL.

Harry has just 45 total receptions on 81 targets for 414 yards and four touchdowns combined over his first two years in New England.

  1. Expect a lot of bubble players to get “injured” right around now. They have to cut a lot of guys. It’s amazing how many guys get injured during the final week of pre-season every year. Hey, that’s just a guy getting good advice from his agent.

  2. unless you trade him for a seventh round pick in 2042 in a week just keep him around after he recovers and maybe just maybe he will be productive and shockers of shockers a keeper as after all how much more snakebitten luck can this guy have or maybe fate is saying this just isn’t the right career choice for yee.

  3. N’Keal Harry’s career (probably) ends in NE by making a N’Keal Harry kind of play. Dunno if we’ll see him in the NFL again but good luck to him.

  4. That was unfortunate. If he had hauled that in, the buzz would be deafening. Instead it tipped off his hands, and he came up injured. Will he go on PUP?

  5. Yeah, terrible first round picks (2 in 20 years:

Another BB genius 1st round pick. BB the GM is killing BB the Coach
    ******************************************************************************
BB the GM built the team that went to 9 Super Bowls & BB the COACH lost 3 of them….
NOW BB the GM is building another DYNASTY TEAM that BB the COACH can fine tune & we can ALL enjoy for another 15-20 years…I’m just not sure who it will be filling the MASSIVE VOIDS he will create at BOTH those positions when he decides to call it a career in a few years…. Ya see, the EXCITEMENT NEVER ENDS for us Patriots fans!!!
