Broncos linebacker Bradley Chubb recently landed in hot water for failing to appear in court on traffic violations. The matter was resolved on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, coach Vic Fangio downplayed the situation.

“I have a good friend of mine over in Greenwood Village who’s a high-standing citizen here in the Denver area, and he had the same thing happen to him,” Fangio told reporters. “He was paying a traffic citation, and the next thing you know, he was — he went through the same thing that Bradley went through. Bradley is a high-standing individual just like that guy is. It’s over and done with.”

It’s surely not the kind of thing that would get him in trouble with the league. So the Broncos and Chubb can move forward in the 2021 season with the issue not being an issue.

  1. It’s hysterical how much of a free pass the Broncos have been given by the sports media for picking Chubb over Josh Allen.

  2. The guy forgot to pay a speeding ticket during the rush of training camp and rehab? Sounds really entitled. He paid his fine.

  3. Vic is a terrible leader. The lack of accountability on and off the field by the Broncos’ organization, its coaching staff, and its players are a primary reason for their terrible product on the field.

LOL, Sad thing is even if they had drafted Josh Allen he would have been kicked out of Denver after his first year and before he blossomed. There is no patience in Denver. You either hit the ground running or you are out. Most irrational fanbase there is.

Hind site is always 2020. Buffalo and its fanbase came extremely close to getting rid of Allen until he finally broke through.. I think the majority of the Denver fanbase wants Drew Lock to be a superstar! He was drafted by Denver and we want him to succeed , and we think that he can and will (in Denver). Of course we’re rooting for Bridgewater and the Broncos to win no matter what, but we still “rationally” think Drew will be “the Guy!” This is more of a case where Vic is trying to save his job (understandably) and is playing who he feels can win now.
