Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry will miss at least the next three games.

The Browns placed Landry on injured reserve today, which under current NFL rules means he’ll have to miss at least Weeks 3-5.

Landry, who has six catches for 80 yards this season, suffered a sprained MCL on Sunday and has been described by the team as “week to week.”

The good news for the Browns is that receiver Odell Beckham may return this week.

  1. Landry is a keystone player. That said, we have a lot of ball catchers. I’d rather he be healthy for the end of the season. Rest up & get healthy!

  2. Odell’s future is going to be decided over the next month or so. He returns healthy and puts up big numbers he just might have a shot at another big contract when this one is up. But if he disappears into the woodwork or immediately gets hurt again people are going to write him off as a major factor. And his best chance of putting up big numbers is going to be with Landry out.

  3. Browns have to have the WRs step up. 9 completions to WRs last weekend doesn’t cut it. Need downfield production.
