The Chiefs are in trouble.

After a one-hour, two-minute weather delay before the start of the second half, Kansas City’s defense forced a pair of punts. But the Chiefs’ second third-quarter possession ended in a pick six.

On third-and-5 from the Kansas City 24, quarterback Patrick Mahomes fired a short pass over the middle to receiver Tyreek Hill. But the pass went off Hill’s hands and into the waiting arms of safety Micah Hyde, who returned the ball 26 yards for a touchdown.

The extra point gave Buffalo a 31-13 lead.

Hyde now has an interception in three consecutive games.

To add injury to insult, running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire has headed to the locker room with a left knee injury and he has been ruled out. He caught an 11-yard pass earlier in that same possession but went down after making the play. He had to be carried off the field by a pair of teammates.

He had seven carries for 13 yards and the one reception.

  1. Mahomes has been throwing the ball up for grabs since his first season the only difference is His luck has run out

  2. Running into the backs of your OL from the shotgun is a good recipe to get hurt. Why don’t the Chiefs deploy a fullback? I realize it’ll be tough for Mahomes to adjust off play action with his back to the defense but you can run on this Bills team you just need some extra blocking help. I realize they’ll know what’s coming but I’d rather have my back recieve his handoff out of the I or single back instead of constant shotgun handoffs. You have to take the ball out of the Bills hands on offense. It’s like the Chiefs are playing against themselves.

  3. How many Bills fans jumped through a table and broke an arm during this game? Jeff Hardy style

  4. This is the most lopsided officiating I have seen in a while. Bills should be up by about 40.

  5. Buffalo looks to be the most compete team in the AFC. KC needs to reset themselves or they won’t even be a playoff team. Congrats Buffalo, looking good!

  6. As a Bills fan, I just want to thank Green Bay’s management for letting Micah Hyde go.
    Oops!

  7. The Packers chose Morgan Burnett and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix over this guy.

And people wonder why they haven’t won a Super Bowl since 2010….

Casey Hayward, too. Two inexplicable decisions, hot garbage.

If the Chiefs were to use a fullback the Bills would just put another person on the line of scrimmage. You can run on the Bills? When your leading RB against the Bills is your QB then I’d have to disagree. You can always run on the top defense in the NFL, right? I mean, top defense, it’s just something handed out at random for no reason each week.

  10. At least with Hayward, there was injury history that played a part. He only started 13 games 2013-2015.

Hyde was clearly a playmaker, and a great return guy for the Pack also.

Hyde had 8 INTs in 3 years as a part time starter… Burnett had 9 INTs… in EIGHT years.

Typical of what was going on with that Packer D at the time. Just a total mess.

.. he’d still look good on the back end. Savage has not been the player he was his rookie year.

And the refs call roughing the QB on Clark. What are frigging joke the NFL Refs are

IF the refs had not called the BS holding penalty on Mitch Morse, that play wouldn’t have gone down. I guess two BS calls make a right.
