Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was back on the practice field for the Dolphins on Wednesday, but two other key members of the team were missing in action.

Cornerback Xavien Howard (shoulder, groin) and wide receiver DeVante Parker (shoulder, hamstring) were both out of the team’s first practice of the week. Howard was on the injury report last week with the same issues, but he was able to practice each day.

Parker also practiced in a limited fashion all last week before sitting out last Sunday’s loss to the Patriots.

Tagovailoa isn’t on the active roster at this point, so he doesn’t appear on the injury report. Quarterback Jacoby Brissett (hamstring), cornerback Byron Jones (Achilles), and tight end Adam Shaheen (knee) were all limited participants. Safety Brandon Jones (knee) is a full participant.

  1. What a waste.. Howard got his money and is done. Parker is a walking injury.. poor stretching and taking care of your body.
    Dumpster fire

  2. I see a big surprise going forward in Miami! Little has been made of the improvement of the offensive line against Tampa Bay a very good defense. Brisett had time to screw up on Sunday. The tape Miami sees from that game will show them that they can start opening up the offense and add plays that get down field. I believe this weekend will be the start of a very different looking offense that teams haven’t seen from Miami in a while. It might be too late for this year but our line is about to look much better with Eichenberg at left tackle,Davis set at Right and moving our previous left tackle to guard. The lineup looked much better than anything I’ve seen in 5 years!
