The Packers are getting thin at cornerback.

Jaire Alexander is on injured reserve with a shoulder injury and they will face the Bears without Kevin King this weekend. King has been ruled out with a shoulder injury of his own.

The Packers will likely go with first-round pick Eric Stokes, Isaac Yiadom, and Chandon Sullivan as their top three corners this weekend. Recently signed veterans Rasul Douglas and Quinton Dunbar could find their way into the lineup as well.

While the injury situation at cornerback isn’t great, the Packers are getting healthier on the offensive line. Center josh myers is off the report after missing last week with a finger injury and left tackle Elgton Jenkins could play after missing the last three games with an ankle injury.

Wide receiver Malik Taylor (illness) is also listed as questionable while tackle Dennis Kelly (back) is considered doubtful to play.

  1. It’s sad the way some of our fans were celebrating the first time Kevin was injured. Hope they don’t celebrate this time around. He’s a human being, he has a family, and part of our team. So let’s all wish him a speedy recovery. “Get well soon Kevin, can’t wait to have you back playing for us.”

  2. The saddest part is, I think that concussion turned him into a better player. He was playing like Jaire Alexander out there on Sunday. Shame we have to lean on Yiadom now.

  3. Will be great to get Josh and Elgton back this week. Bakh is eligible to come back after this week as well.

The depth on this team is incredible. Playing without several of their blue chip players this season. Still rolling strong.

  4. This guy is made of glass. Good thing he’s playing on a one year deal. And to think that Ted Thompson could have had T.J. Watt instead of King and Vince Beagle. One of the worse trades of his tenure.

  5. not like the packers are gonna need him. Expect a lot of mistakes and a low score from chicago on sunday

  6. Fear not Packer fans, we are going to torch the Bears this weekend. I am the league MVP and don’t you forget it. Muhammad Ali was THE GREATEST in boxing, and NFL’s GREATEST is right here leading the Pack. Super Bowel, here we come.
