Browns are expected to be without Jack Conklin, Jedrick Wills on Sunday

USA TODAY Sports

The Browns had 10 players listed as questionable on Friday’s injury report, including both of their starting offensive tackles.

It looks like both of those players are going to wind up on the inactive list against the Cardinals. Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that right tackle Jack Conklin and left tackle Jedrick Wills are both expected to sit out on Sunday.

Wills missed last Sunday’s loss to the Chargers with an ankle injury and Conklin left that game with a knee injury. Blake Hance started in place of Wills and James Hudson III took over for Conklin.

Hance and Hudson won’t have to deal with Cardinals pass rusher Chandler Jones, who will miss the game while on the COVID-19 reserve list. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury will also be missing after testing positive.

The Browns will be without Nick Chubb after ruling him out with a calf injury. Kareem Hunt was listed as questionable with wrist and knee injuries, but is expected to play along with defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, defensive end Myles Garrett, and cornerback Denzel Ward.

  1. AZ is still loaded with pass rushers even w/ Jones out of this one on the COVID list for the next couple days. His back OLB Dennis Gardeck is now fully 100% healthy and he had an elite 90.5 grade last season putting up 7.5 sacks in just 93 pass rushing attempts which is insane. AZ will have excellent pass rushing DT Jordan Phillips back for this game which next to JJ Watt will only help Watt get after the QB and get home. Watt can also rush off the edge. AZ also will have both starting CBs back for this one in Byron Murphy Jr who’s developed into an elite caliber #1CB with great ball skills & rookie phenom CB Marco Wilson who’s been a stud and has an extremely bright future ahead.

With both starting tackles out for the Browns and with AZ having a lot of quality pass rushers Joseph needs to bring pressure and capitalize on both tackles being out. Mayfield gets shook easily once u start consistently hitting, pressuring and sacking him. If you’re consistently hitting him he will begin forcing passes he shouldn’t n turning the ball over, you can force fumbles from him to, AZ needs to get him to cough up a couple turnovers in this game and if they do I think AZ will win. This game could go either way. Defense needs to play at a very high level forcing a few turnovers and offensively with alll the weapons on that roster they need a bigg game themselves and win game. I’ll predict AZ wins 34-27.
