Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb has run afoul of the NFL’s uniform police repeatedly this season.

Lamb has been fined twice for having his jersey untucked, $5,150 for the first offense and $15,450 for the second offense, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. The NFL triples the amount of the fine with each successive offense, so if it happens again he’ll be fined $46,350.

The NFL also fined Lamb $5,150 for having socks that failed to cover his lower leg in a game.

Lamb has also had a fine for taunting and a fine for an illegal crackback block, for a total of $46,865.

NFL players can appeal fines, either by claiming they did not violate the rule in question or by claiming the amount of the fine is excessive relative to the player’s salary. It is unclear whether Lamb has appealed any of his fines.

  1. Really stupid rules for them. Maybe the socks just fell down while running? And the un-tucked jersey too

  2. Ummmm why not have the officials bounce him from the game. Playing time is what these guys covet.

  3. The NFL doesn’t realize he doesn’t have to follow the rules because he plays for Jerry Jones.

  4. Must be nice for the league if untucked shirts and low socks are its biggest problems right now…

  5. Tripling the fine for each successive offense means exponential growth. Lamb should just continue his untucked jersey fashion statement and see what the NFL does when the fine for the final game of the regular season reaches . . . over 2.7 BILLION dollars.

  6. The rules are the rules. If you can’t follow simple ones like this while be paid millions of dollars a year, good luck with the rest of your life.

  7. He didn’t even play last week. Shows how much the NFL really wanted the Pats to win. Going at the player that beat them with everything.

  8. I trust that those complaining about these fines realize that they are negotiated between the NFLPA and the league. And for some violations (not sure about violations of the uniform policy), after the third offense a suspension can be applied.

  9. The immature me-first players are a dime-a-dozen and the line is long. Go to the back of the line CeeDee. Playing in the NFL is a privilege, not a right.

  10. When you house 128 milly in two years you gotta generate a little side revenue to justify your paycheck.

  11. Classic immature and low iq Cowboys WR who will end up being overrated and cost the team millions in the end. lol

  12. I don’t feel bad for him. If I made super bank to play a game less than 20 times a year, I’d be sure I pulled my socks up.

  13. Come on guy. How hard is it to keep your clothes in check with the rules to be a professional. Diva tendencies seem to be creepin up with him.

  14. Maybe he just feels that NFL Charities will do a better job of ‘giving back’ than he would do on his own!

  15. Man, Goodell is really mad that Cowboy fans took Gillette Stadium over and watched the Cowboys on an off day beat the Patriots black and blue in their own stadium!

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Yeah….Because there’s a real love affair between Roger Goodell and the Patriots.
