It wasn’t pretty, but a win is a win is a win.

The Cowboys forced four takeaways, the third consecutive game they have done that, and beat the Giants 21-6 despite more red zone woes. They scored only two touchdowns on five red zone trips, settling for Greg Zuerlein field goals of 26, 42 and 27 yards.

The Cowboys moved to 10-4 and a step closer to the division title, while the Giants fell to 4-10.

The Cowboys defense continued to carry them. They intercepted Mike Glennon three times and recovered a Saquon Barkley fumble.

DeMarcus Lawrence had five tackles, two quarterback hits, a tackle for loss, a pass defensed that resulted in a Jourdan Lewis interception and the forced fumble of Barkley. Trevon Diggs intercepted his 10th pass of the season, one short of the team record. Malik Hooker also had a pick.

Glennon went 13-of-24 for 99 yards and the three picks before the Giants pulled him for Jake Fromm, who made his NFL debut late in the fourth quarter.

The Cowboys had 328 yards, with Dak Prescott going 28-of-37 for 217 yards and a touchdown. Dalton Schultz caught eight passes for 67 yards and a touchdown.

Ezekiel Elliott rushed for 52 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries, while Tony Pollard returned from a foot injury to rush for 74 yards on 12 carries.

The Giants lost receiver Sterling Shepard to a non-contact injury with 1:26 remaining. Shepard broke off the line and almost immediately grabbed at the back of his ankle. He was carted off.

  1. Fromm has to start next week. Seen enough of Glennon… and someone thought he was better than Colt McCoy?

  2. Struggling to win 3 straight is better than struggling and losing 3 straight. Ask Arizona how they feel about the last 2 games. Priority one is win the game. Pittsburgh has done for years.

  3. 3 Straight road wins in a row. I won’t complain. Much better run game with Conner Williams in at guard. Seeing small improvements in this game so I will take it!
Arizona losing to Detroit……. But you only want to hate on us lol! 10-4! TRUTH!

  4. Feasting on bad teams and bad or inexperienced qbs. Won’t be able to do that in the playoffs and Dak has not been good.

  5. Love the Cowboys and Dak are trash comments 😂 10-4!
Arizona is trash then right? And The Patriots as well?
No just us? Because We Are Americas Team And YOU ALL Know This!
10-4 Beat record in the division! Hate because your Teams are the Real Trash!

  6. I say again, the majority of the commentary here is from 12 year old boys who barely know how to troll, certainly not from anyone who knows anything about football. Division games are always tough. Dallas won up front on both sides of the ball. Dallas wideouts lead the league in drops and had 2 key drops today. The Dak is trash is clickbait for the football know nothings.

That’s McCarthy’s career. Got fat every year in GB on weak divisional opponents and teams and then whacked whenever they went up against talent.

  8. Cowboys moved the ball at will but couldn’t get touchdowns unless the defense gave them a short field. The defense is hot but will wilt going against the best teams if it doesn’t get some support from the offense.

  9. one of those weak teams with an inexperienced QB that Cowboys spanked by double digits in their stadium blanked the world champs in their own stadium today.
