Officially, the Giants have declined to say who their starting quarterback is today. But it’s going to be Jake Fromm.

Fromm will get the first start of his career today against the Eagles, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

The Giants have ruled Daniel Jones out for the season, and Mike Glennon has been a disaster as his replacement. Fromm arrived off the Bills’ practice squad and played part of last week’s game, completing six of 12 passes for 82 yards.

The 4-10 Giants are going nowhere this year, but it will be helpful to evaluate whether Fromm should be a part of their quarterback room in 2022.

  1. The eagles record is misleading. They have played against some of the worst starting qbs due to covid, injury, or bad calculation (panthers). We have not beat one good team all year except for the saints, and they really aren’t what you would call good, and they had a 4th string QB and some top defensive players out.

I fear the Eagles will now think these outcomes make them better than they are and will stick with Hurts who is clearly not a good QB and if the eagles didn’t get so lucky this year would probably be leading a team to a top 3 pick.

This is the kind of season that leads teams to long term mediocrity. Thinking they are better than they really are based on record. Unfortunately about the fan base has been fooled as well..

  2. My Eagles have zero excuses if they blow this one today. Should be a revenge game after the pathetic loss a few weeks ago and Hurts having a horrible game (17 rat, 45 comp% 0td/3int).

  3. Minshew brought such life to the Eagles offense. How sad to see that snuffed out today by Hurts.
