Bills ended every possession with a touchdown or kneeldown, unprecedented in NFL history

The Bills’ dominant win over the Patriots included an unprecedented accomplishment in NFL history.

Every time the Bills got the ball they scored a touchdown — seven possessions, seven touchdowns — with the exception of kneeling down at the end of each half. The Bills had no turnovers, and they never even considered punting or kicking a field goal because they never faced a fourth down. That has never happened in NFL history, in the regular season or the playoffs.

In the regular season the Bills went a whole game against the Patriots without punting, becoming the first Bill Belichick opponent ever to go a full game without a punt.

If anything, Saturday night’s 47-17 Bills win was more dominant than even the score indicated. Belichick’s Patriots defense never had an answer for Josh Allen and the Bills. This was one of the most impressive offensive performances in NFL history.

  1. Just goes to show how Mac is a rookie that will never amount to anything, he has a noodle arm and has already hit his career plateau otherwise Buffalo would not have scored all those points.

  2. The weather played right into Buffalo’s hand!

    Otherwise BB wouldn’t have lost!

And the referees sure do seem like they want the Bills in the super bowl!

  3. I think the patriots fooled everyone into thinking they were legit. Hey are lucky Miami fired Flores . They’re no sure thing to be in the mix next season.

  4. An old defense just couldn’t hold up over the longest season ever. And how many of those guys will even play next year? This is the problem you create when you have poor drafts for a string of years.

  5. Bill has some explaining to do about that defense. Swiss cheese.
Pathetic, uninspired play. Poor Mac. He was never given a chance.

Congrats to the Bills, go get em. I’ll be rooting for you.

  6. Congratulations to the Bills. Great game(s) by them and they deserved to win the division and move forward. Hope, sincerely, they make it all the way.

As far as the Pats…there was something Jerod Mayo said earlier this season which stuck with me…he said they preferred experience over speed…his take was that what good is speed when you are running the wrong way!!! Well…his LB corps is slow and running the wrong way…so I think NE and BB has some serious work to do on that front!

Offense will be alright but still think the division is the Bills to take next season.

  7. GM of the year huh? Maybe he can get a soft schedule again next year to make him look like a genius. I wasn’t all that impressed with his off-season acquisitions except for Van Noy and Judon. Those were solid. The rest of them were meh. There’s no other way to paint it other than the Patriots feasted on lousy teams (remember, the Titans were without Henry) and were absolutely exposed in the playoffs. That was a beatdown.

  8. Every single yard the Bills were allowed to take….they took! Think about that. Unreal performance against the so-called genius!

  9. If ever there was a player valuable to his team it’s Josh Allen. He looks like the high school senior quarterback playing with the junior team. He is so dominant that he looks like he’s playing with the smaller kids. He is more to this team than Aaron Rodgers is to the Pack, or Mahomes to the Chiefs.

  10. Patriots had a fine season, did better than expected and will be good moving forward for years to come. This blowout said a lot but to me it said more about how good the Bills are and not how bad the Pats were.

Similarly to when the Bills were out matched last year vs KC I think they’ve shown much improvement on both sides of the ball and a rematch with KC, should it happen, will be a lot closer this time around.

  11. What we saw tonight is the difference between good and poor drafting. NE was never going to be. 3 win team. But everyone lauded their free agency haul this year but they had no choice. Several years of terrible drafting left them with no option.
BB was def not the GM of the year. He just made the most moves bc he had to.

  12. It’s a good thing Allen regressed this year like everyone was saying. It could’ve been worse.

  13. The weather played right into Buffalo’s hand!

    Otherwise BB wouldn’t have lost!

    A millennial response.

  14. This kind of meltdown on the defensive side is nothing new to Patriots defense and the great genius BB. Eagles Super bowl 500+ yards by Nick Foles; Atlanta SB first 3 quarters, run over by Ryan and the WRs, and the unknowns RBs. KC AFC championship game, Mahomes was unstoppable. Even goes back to 2006 AFCC vs Colts, 21-3 half time lead, meltdown in the second half by the defense with the only SB by Peyton. The list goes on and on.

  15. Every other team is going to start serving their players chicken broth on the sidelines during cold weather games.

  16. Know what else is unprecedented? Throwing three passes and winning. Pats have a rookie Qb. They’ll be fine.

It could not have happened against a better team or coach.

Well yeah, because there is no better team or coach.

One seems just a bit more impressive than the other, wouldn’t you say? … lol.

Id say a historic level of dominance by the Bills offense yesterday is a bit more impressive than the Patriots barely eking out a 4pt win (14-10) in crazy 40+mph winds by basically not passing all day. The Bills beat themselves that game with poor coaching/play calling, mistakes and penalties. If the Bills don’t drop any 1 of 3 different TD passes they win. Or kick a FG instead of going for it on 4th down earlier in the game they could’ve kicked an easy FG to (likely) win the game at the end of the 4th Q.

But I do agree. Mac is a rookie and the Patriots will be fine. It was impressive for them to even make the playoffs this year with a rookie QB.

Oh give it a rest. We got beaten like a drum. Just take the encouragement of the season itself and start looking at how to build on this next year.

  21. The Bills apparently weren’t happy with their kicking game, so they said f*** it we’re not going to punt or kick.
