The Raiders and wide receiver Hunter Renfrow have agreed to a new contract.

Renfrow will sign a two-year, $32 million extension with $21 million guaranteed, according to NFL Network.

The Raiders had been hoping to get a new deal done with Renfrow, who was heading into the final year of his rookie contract. Now they have a key piece of their offense locked in.

Davante Adams arrived in Las Vegas this offseason to become the Raiders’ No. 1 receiver, and it’s likely that with Adams around this year, Renfrow will catch fewer than the 103 passes he caught in 2021. But the Raiders still have high hopes for Renfrow’s long-term future, and they’ll now ensure that he won’t leave next year.

  1. I don’t care if Adams only produces half of what he did in GB, because it means Waller and Renfrow are pulling in tons of catches. As long as Carr has even a decent line, this offense should put up silly numbers.

  2. That’s a slap in the face for Renfro and stupidity on the Raiders as they probably could have traded him to somebody that would have given him a bigger longer term contract and gotten some draft picks out of him as he’s going to be dropped from their No1 option and receive fewer passes that will ultimately make him less valuable on the market in two years.

  3. That’s a steal for his talent! Excellent move! McDaniels is making certified moves and is proving to be his own man, Not Belichick!

  4. The Davante Adams trade is the beginning of the end for this team.

The Rudderless Raiders Sinking Ship is going down.

    4-13 finish in 2022.

Need to put up more than 22 points a game to compete in that division. Adding Davante Adams instead of using draft picks for an O Line is going to kill the Raiders.

  6. This isnt gonna do much for them I see a record of 5-12 in the future.Just lose Baby!!!

Couldn’t agree more, all these goofy Raider’s fans celebrating in the off season…..wait until the regular season starts in the Raiders are 2-7 mid season, lolololol

  8. Sure does look like a lot of nervous Bronco Charger and KC fans in here commenting.

The Raiders did draft some OL while adding some in free agency. The OL doesn’t have to be great just average which would make it better than it was last year when they won 10 games. LV, LA, and Den all pulled closer to KC in terms of talent. On paper it looks like all 4 of those teams could make the playoffs.

Sinking ship? If that’s what you call retaining your contributors, cutting your non performers and adding Adams, Chandler and then a bunch of under the radar players with high upside. Yep. Going down fast.

Raiders now have one of the best recurring corps in the league.

    ——

Yeah in your delusional mind, along with no QB or Offensive line….lololol

  12. “Raiders now have one of the best recurring corps in the league.”

Even if this was true, having no QB nor offensive line won’t get you very far.

Good luck in that stacked division, I see a dead last finish for the Raiders on the horizon.

  13. Everybody is looking at the Raiders on their schedule and not sure what will happen

  14. Everyone looking at the Raiders schedule and are sure they finish dead last in that division

    5-12

    ______

“under the radar” is my favorite part of this offseason success fantasy.

  16. Simultaneously amusing and pathetic that Bronco fans think Russell Wilson is going to take them to a winning record. Denver did not get 27 year old pinball machine Wilson. They got a guy who turns 34 this season. His former mobility made everything else work, and that elusiveness is going downhill like it does for any pro athlete. If Denver gets 7 wins, the world will be shocked.
