Allen Lazard doesn’t think he’ll play this weekend

The Packers will be trying to end a losing streak in Buffalo on Sunday night and it doesn’t look like they’ll have to overcome any mistakes from wide receiver Allen Lazard during that bid.

Lazard is dealing with a shoulder injury that kept him off the practice field on both Wednesday and Thursday. Lazard told reporters at the team’s facility that he heard his shoulder “snap, crackle and pop” last weekend, but doesn’t think he’ll be out for a long period of time as a result of the injury.

He does expect to miss this weekend’s game, however, and that will be a blow to an offense that needs all the help it can get to find its way.

Sammy Watkins, Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson, Amari Rodgers, and Samori Toure are the other Packers wideouts.

  1. Quit dumping on Rodgers. The truth matters. His receivers suck. They run the wrong routes, they have hands of stone. His GM gave him a terrible hand to play, and they are doubling down. Other teams are making moves to improve before the deadline, but not the Packers. I saw at least five drops of passes that should have been caught last week. They screwed up by moving their o line coach to OC. It ruined the O line AND the OC position. Sorry, but Rodgers is right.

  2. They should just sit Rodgers too. People have had enough of him rolling his eyes and acting like every pass is a work of art. Watkins had a step on a long route last week but couldn’t have caught the pass if he’d been on a racehorse. Love won’t audible out of run plays just because he doesn’t want Jones becoming the face of the franchise.

  3. I can’t blame the guy. He is making 20 bucks a snap while Rodgers makes 100k a snap. Then Rodgers throws everyone under the bus when he can’t throw the ball above a guys ankles.

  4. He won’t be needed. They have Aaron Rodgers, the best to ever play the game. He’s paid to be a premier, game-changing, difference-maker no matter who else is on the field. The Packers put all their eggs in his basket believing he was the sole answer, so that is obviously the direction they are comfortable proceeding. The could’ve built a tremendous team around Jordan Love well into the future with the assets Rodgers could’ve delivered……last year. Good luck with that.

  5. I think they will work out well, It give Rodgers the opportunity to throw…… and catch his own passes.

  6. Even if Lazard could play, it would still be like trying to take down a Rhino with a BB-gun.
