Recently, we broke down the Ndamukong Suh contract with the Eagles. Here’s the breakdown for the Linval Joseph contract.

Per multiple sources, the Eagles persuaded Joseph and Suh to accept the same terms. Base value of $1.25 million. Maximum compensation of $2.5 million.

As one source put it, Suh deserves a lot of credit for taking such a team-friendly deal. He could have gotten more from the Buccaneers before the season. He possibly, if not probably, could have gotten more from another team now. But he wants to win. He also was attracted to the passion of the team’s fans.

And so the rich have gotten richer this week. Two experienced and talented veteran defensive tackles were available, and the Eagles got them both.

  1. Trying to purchase a SB. Problem is for the Eagles is they haven’t played anyone yet outside of Dallas that is a contender.
That day is coming. However with a very weak NFC they have a chance

  2. The Eagles don’t need them to be great, they just need them to be average and to take regular snaps to keep the starters fresh.

Hopefully they can get up to speed quick and Jordan Davis comes back soon.

  3. I don’t think he ever wanted to play a full season at this point in his career. It was all about waiting to see who the contenders were going to be and then walk in at the end and hopefully get a ring he doesn’t deserve.
