Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa left Sunday’s 33-17 loss to the 49ers with an ankle injury after being strip-sacked by 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa in the fourth quarter and he provided a bit of an update about his condition after the game.

Tagovailoa said, via David Furones of the Miami Herald, that he’s feeling “as good as I can be after a game.” He added that he expects to have further assessments of his ankle on Monday and during the week.

Tagovailoa was on the injury report during the week with an ankle issue, but he was a full participant in all three of the team’s practices.

The Dolphins will be in Los Angeles to face the Chargers next Sunday night.

  1. Once again he failed miserably on the big stage in December.
The Dolphins still need a real qb and not a gimmick.

  2. As much as I would love to gloat and pile on Tua, there is still a lot of football left. At one point last year the bills were 2 games behind the pats— the bills ultimately won the division. Obviously, I like the bills position. They are battle tested and developed some grit this year. But, nothing written in stone.

Don’t be trying to jump on that Tua bandwagon if he throws for 350 yards while Miami runs the Niners off the field. It’s full and you’re not invited. All the ninnies that doubted him or said he should’ve retired, can choke on that big ol L

File under didn’t age well. Remember when all the bills fans weren’t really nervous about the L. Well now you see why . It’s crunch time. There’s 5-6 QBs that scare me more that tua. See ya in a few weeks

  4. He is 8-1 as a starter and after this 3 week road trip then you can start to bash him but I would pump the brakes for now

  5. Here in Miami it’s the same as it ever was!!! Everything riding on December and no QB that can win when it’s given to them!!!
We have Tua on the field against a third string QB nobody else would ever want and we loose! He overthrew the most balls in history today to wide open receivers. His whole career is in the Ballance as everyone is saying he’s not ready for the cold and can’t beat a third string QB in the heat of California!!! Today was the beginning of an uncomfortable reality that the Dolphins are about to go through another rebuild!

Tua has proven once again he can’t defeat a good team in December.
    Enough is enough!

Tua is 6-4 in December is his career. And this year is VERY different than the last two. Take a chill pill.
