49ers favored by 10, Vikings and Cowboys each favored by 3 in NFC wild card round

The betting lines are out for the NFC wild card round, and the 49ers are unsurprisingly heavy favorites.

San Francisco is a 10-point favorite over Seattle in the wild card round. The 49ers beat the Seahawks twice this season, 27-7 in San Francisco in Week Two and 21-13 in Seattle in Week 15.

The Vikings are three-point favorites over the Giants. The two teams played just three weeks ago, on Christmas Eve, and the Vikings won 27-24, so a three-point spread is unsurprising.

The Cowboys are three-point favorites over the Buccaneers on the road in the Monday night game. The two teams met in Week One of the regular season, with the Buccaneers winning 19-3, but much has changed since then, and the Cowboys have looked like the better team for most of the season.

The AFC wild card round betting odds break down similarly, with the No. 2 seed a heavy favorite, the No. 3 seed a smaller favorite, and the No. 5 seed favored on the road against the No. 4 seed.

  1. Take Seattle and the points even though I think the 49ers will prevail, and Dallas will lose outright

  2. This will be a nice tune up game for the rest of the playoffs for the niners. Seattle doesn’t belong in these playoffs and will get humiliated Saturday. Niners 42 hawks 10

  3. Cowboys win and cover easily.
    Vikings win and cover.
    49ers win but don’t cover.

  4. Vikings lost 2 starting linemen in the gb packers game. Down 2 linemen with a Martindale defense could be a big problem for the Vikings.

  5. Tampa Bay is 8-9 and host a 12 win team….Tampa is lucky they play in a really crappy division

This time Seahawks win by 7 pts!

    —————————————————————————–
In the two games that the teams played this year the Seahawks had 20 possessions, and scored 1 TD, with 4 minutes left in the second game which was out of reach. The Seahawks will not only fail to win by 7 pts, they’ll be lucky to score 7 pts.

  9. The Vikings are a 3 point favorite over the Giants at home.

Vegas sure knows a fraud when they see one.

  10. The best thing about the playoffs is that each team has a chance to win and move onto the next round. The Seahawk’s chances are better than most think and they believe, which is important. SF will be looking past them, so I’m expecting a possibility of an upset. (Seahawks 21 – 49rs 20)

  11. Viking fans do not even know that there own is a Giants fan still has a house in NJ and one in NY
He wanted to buy into the Giants but could not so he settled for the Vikings

This going to be a big coming out party for Danny Dimes

If Vegas thought the Vikings were frauds, the Giants would be favored to win, not the Vikings.
