As he prepares for the biggest game of his NFL career, Jaguars pass rusher Josh Allen is feeling confident.

Allen spoke with Rodney Harrison on today’s Football Night in America pregame show, and he said he and his teammates aren’t satisfied with just making it to the divisional round.

“We didn’t come this far to come this far. We’re going to win this game. That’s our mentality. We’re going to win. We’re going to win,” Allen said.

Not many people believe the 9.5-point underdog Jaguars are going to win. But Allen pressuring Patrick Mahomes will be an important part of any path to victory the Jaguars may have.

  1. Patrick Mahomes might have to make it past 2 Josh Allen’s every year in the playoffs.

  2. Nothing wrong with being in a positive mind set. That is how winners think. If you believe it first, then you will see it manifest. Should be a great game to watch.

  3. What’s wrong with these players? Unless you’re Joe Namath you shouldn’t call your shot and guarantee victory. That never ends well.

  4. I admire his attitude. Everybody wants guys who think this way on their team. That said, he’s got a tough hill to climb today.

    GO CHIEFS!!!

  5. They have a chance, but that being said, Andy Reid after byes is something to behold. This will probably be a blowout.

  6. varsity vs jr. varsity
