Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown not on Eagles’ practice report

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and receiver A.J. Brown both said Wednesday they were good to go for this week. The team’s practice report confirmed that.

Neither player is on the practice report.

Hurts missed two games after injuring his right shoulder in Week 15. He returned in Week 18 but didn’t come off the practice report until last week.

Hurts said Wednesday that he’s “felt better, but it doesn’t really matter.”

Brown appeared to be dealing with a lower body injury late in Saturday’s win over the Giants, but the injury was not disclosed and apparently won’t be. He called himself “good to go.”

Every player on the Eagles’ 53-player roster took part in Wednesday’s walkthrough practice. Only right tackle Lane Johnson (groin) and nickel cornerback Avonte Maddox (toe) were limited.

That’s good news for Maddox, who has not played since a toe injury on Christmas Eve against the Cowboys.

  1. Winner of this game winning Superbowl

9ERS WILL WIN SUPERBOWL THIS SEASON!!!!

Thumbs down all you want but just watch us lift that Lombardi Superbowl Sunday

Not arrogant or cocky being disrespectful, it’s just OUR year

  2. @uncle joey

If your coming into this game HOPING a QB will make mistakes you’re ALREADY scared

I’m not HOPING I’m KNOWING we’re GONNA turn ur offense over with our defense and run it down ur throats, with misdirection, screen games and play action

You already LOST and RIGHTFULLY so….

9ERS ARE WINNING SUPERBOWL THIS SEASON

  3. Purdy Made mistakes vs Dallas, they just let him off the hook like the pass that hit Diggs in the hands.

I LOOOVE all this “the eagles have to do x,y, & z to be able to beat the 49ers…”. Nahhhh, this is our house, we have the MVP candidate, we have 2 #1 receivers, we have a tight end that can control the middle of the field, a RB that can hit homeruns also AND the #2 defense that’s behind the #1 D by about 15 yards. The 49ers & Purdy will need to play a damn close to perfect game to beat the eagles in our house but that’s not happening. Brock Purdy isn’t gonna have that nice, quiet huddle anymore. Say goodbye to being able to communicate at the line of scrimmage. That whole team is in for a rude awakening Sunday. Remember what KC did to that defense, round 2 is a couple days away. Game management ain’t gonna work for their offense this week, we’ll see what he’s made of since the birds have the personnel to take away the first read consistently. The kid is a great story, hopefully this playoff run is enough to keep him on the field next season, seems like a nice enough kid

  4. Good to hear. I love this Eagles team when Hurts is on the field. They have swagger and confidence. I respect the 49er’s but I think Philly wins by 10.

  5. I have a bet on the 49ers to win the SB however….got good odds a few weeks back, when Eagles were struggling without Hurts.
Brock Purdy is being over hyped by the media, as usual, although he has done reasonably well, although the Cowboys, showed his limitations and would have won, had Dack Prescott turned up! 49ers were very very lucky.
If Hurts is fit and all indications are he is, Eagles win easily IMO

Nick Sirianni is a tool bag !

We get it, you’re mad that your cowboys lost again.

  7. Hilarious all these SF fans pounding their chests when they haven’t won a Super Bowl in 3 decades. That’s worse than Dallas. How often do you watch the Betamax tapes of the Super Bowl? Niners wont know what hit them come Sunday. QB gonna get Purdy beat up.

  8. Funny to see teams like Philly try and bag on teams that have 5 Super Bowl wins each. Okay 👍🏽

  9. Dallas and SF fans love living in the past. Most of these clowns weren’t even alive the last time either of these teams won Super Bowl.

  10. We may not have 5 Superbowl trophies but ours is newer and shinier…were some of you even born during those 5?

None of the QBs playing on Sunday were born the last time the Cowboys or 49ers won the super bowl hahahahahaha

  12. SF’s cupcake factory tour is over They had the easiest schedule and only left CA 3x in the last 3 1/2 months Only a real fan gonna see through all the trash the media is spewing

  13. If 49ers win it won’t be in spite of or because of Purdy, it will be a team effort. They have a great team with awesome stars like Kittle, Bosa, Williams, Warner, Deebo etc, and those guys will show up regardless. Should be a great game.

  14. This is by far the the best matchup in the NFC Championship in a long time. Both teams are great and either team can win. Heck, you can make an entire Pro Bowl team just from these two rosters. So for anyone to say “The Eagles are definitely going to win” or “the Niners are definitely going to win”, you don’t know football. These teams can probably play each other 10 times and split 5 and 5. It’s going to come down to which team makes less mistakes. As an Eagles fan, I’m hoping it’s them. But I’m not going to sit here and say 49ers can’t win this game. It’s ridiculous for anyone to say that about either team.

Come on Niners fans! You’re better than that. Don’t be like Cowboy’s fans with the “how many rings do you have?” argument. Especially if you weren’t even alive for any of them. Your team is great enough NOW that you shouldn’t need to rely on that tired/irrelevant argument.
