The NFL has named Dolphins linebacker Bradley Chubb to the Pro Bowl games to replace Khalil Mack.

Chubb also made the Pro Bowl in 2020.

The Dolphins acquired Chubb in a trade with Denver on Nov. 1. In 16 total games this season, Chubb made 39 tackles, eight sacks, one pass defensed and a career-high three forced fumbles. Three of his eight sacks were strip-sacks.

Chubb becomes the fourth Dolphin named to the team, joining tackle Terron Armstead, wide receiver Tyreek Hill and cornerback Xavien Howard. It’s the first time Miami has had four Pro Bowl selections in a season since 2016, when running back Jay Ajayi, wide receiver Jarvis Landry, defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh and defensive end Cameron Wake made the all-star team.

Mack withdrew from the event with an injury.

  1. This makes no sense. Josh Uche outplayed this bust.

He had 20 solo tackles and 8 sacks.

Uche had 23 solo tackles and 11.5 sacks.

  2. The Pro Bowl is NOTHING like it used to – players used to get chosen based on abilities & stats & now it’s a popularity contest that’s needs to be done away with. Not saying Chubb or the others don’t deserve it…if you happen to scrape the bottom of the barrel.

  3. You guys can just go ahead and stop covering the “Pro Bowl” already. We long since stopped caring.

  4. Dude got like 2.5 sacks and less than 20 tackles after getting traded. Broncos getting a first for that production with the money he demanded was a steal.

  5. Shout out to all the people who just mumbled out loud, “Jay Ajayi was a Pro Bowler!?!?!?!”

  6. The Pro Bowl used to mean something years ago but now it’s just flimsy. Once someone tears their ACL in a flag football game they’ll move to digital where guys are sitting in their houses playing Madden. 8 sacks is a good year but those aren’t Pro Bowl numbers, this is coming from a Fins fan. I realize the league and players are trying to cash in on the game by having it the week before the Super Bowl but they need to switch it back to being hosted in Hawaii. At least you’d get some higher tier players going for a vacation.
