  1. Bears will trade their first rounder for a stud player and move down with added pick(s)

  2. Yay. A 2nd draft without Gettleman making the picks. Pass on Micah Parsons for a trade down for Kadarious Toney. How’d that work out?

  3. The only team that disappointed me as much as the Packers this past season is the Bears. I had high hopes for them.

  4. Bears will trade down at least once. I can see Texans panicking and make a deal then deal that 2nd pick to the Colts. Bears get Carter and add a lot of depth.

  5. Belichick will trade back twice and take the best D2 long snapper on the board, infuriating Pats fans everywhere.

  6. Santa Clara not exactly reaping the benefits for trading away those first rounders for Trey Lance…

  7. Miami should sign Carr to back up Tua. It’s not a question of will Tua get another concussion, it’s a question of when.

  8. This is your chance Tennessee Titans. Move to number 1 jump Indy and Houston and take Bryce Young. His nfl comparison is Drew Brees. Time for a franchise qb. Then get him a couple olinemen and another receiver. Time to build an elite offense.

Maybe Chicago can draft a real QB instead of that pretender, Fields.

Let’s wait until we see the Bears surround him with some decent weapons and a line that can effectively pass block (they are pretty good run blockers) before we draw any conclusions. If he does well, I’m sure that people like yourself will come back and admit that you were wrong.

  10. “The Chiefs draft last in the first round, which this year is 31st after the Dolphins forfeited their first-round choice for PENALTIES announced by the NFL on Aug. 2.”

I think the word you were looking for there is CHEATING.

It would have worked better if the Giants had kept Toney. I think that they could use a guy who scored a touchdown in the Super Bowl along with getting the longest punt return in the game’s history.

  12. The Owners keep laughing their way to the bank, while everyone keeps watching. Too many mediocre teams this year.

  13. Chicago please don’t screw this up. Preferably pick up Stroud or pick Young if you really love the guy and then trade off Fields from some more picks. Fields will never be on a Lamar Jackson or Patrick Mahomes or ever a Derek Carr level, so just dump Fields and grab a good rookie WR so your new rookie QB has someone to throw to. Look at what Cincinnati did, there is your blueprint to get you started.

It worked out great for Kansas City

  16. The good news for Chicago fans is that the Bears can retain the title of #1 pick in the draft as long as they keep Fields as a starter. It is a great opportunity for them.

  17. After last preseason on this very website I said “the Bears won as many preseason games as they will regular season games” and I got obliterated via thumbs down. Well, well, well….look who’s picking #1 this year. I was RIGHT people! First time since 1994 but I was RIGHT!

Maybe they can draft a QB that leads the league in INTs like Dak Prescott.

Just curious… When is it considered cheating? When the act is committed? Dolphins were not the only team tampering with TB12. Or is it when they are penalized?

I’m not arguing the punishment. It was justified. But don’t get all righteous on us and act like the Dolphins are the only guilty organization. They were just the ones with an owner too stupid/brazen enough not to conceal it.
