Hours after signing quarterback Lamar Jackson to a long-term contract, the Ravens have given Jackson another wide receiver.

Boston College wide receiver Zay Flowers is heading to Baltimore with the 22nd overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft.

Between Flowers, Odell Beckham Jr. and Nelson Agholor, the Ravens’ receiving corps will look a lot different in 2023, and Jackson has to be happy with that. Jackson has a lot of options he didn’t have last season.

If Jackson can stay healthy, there’s every reason to believe he should have one of his best seasons, and perhaps the best passing numbers of his career.

  1. Steal of the draft. Odell, Bateman and Flowers. Dobbins at running back. Elite defense . Absolutely unstoppable. Third ring is coming soon.

  2. lol!!!

Poor guy works out with Mahomes and then ends up in cap jail during a rebuild.

  3. Darn. I wanted to see the Ravens draft a running back just to see the comments here.

  4. If healthy, the Ravens will be a solid team in the Regular season and will make the Playoffs. After that, who knows.

  5. I thought they may take a WR with a bigger catch radius. Lamar sometimes misses the zip code of the intended receiver.

  6. Only that whack offense and not having a contract held Lamar back. This year is gonna be special.

  7. Only need for one wideout in this offense, more than that overwhelms Jackson. What is he ever going to do with this guy, Beckham, and Bateman? Gonna be a lot of angry receivers wanting the ball.

  8. Monken, Odell, Flowers and Bateman. This shouldn’t, and better not be, the same old Ravens offense they’ve been running for the last 5 years. Can’t wait!

  9. Monken, Odell, Flowers and Bateman…and Mark Andrews, Dobbins and Edwards.

Crazy. That’s a lot to defend.

Flowers is quick and creates space. I think you will see him running to the ball in space the same way Tyreek does. With Bateman, Odell, Andrews, Agholor out there he should see plenty of space available. Excited to see it!

  11. good shot we Ravens bring back Ogden at center. he’s a big guy and has talent
