The Eagles got the ball rolling on signing their 2023 draft picks on Thursday and they added nine undrafted rookies to the club on Friday.

The group of nine undrafted additions includes wide receivers Jadon Haselwood and Joseph Ngata. The Eagles did not draft any wide receivers this season.

Haselwood transferred from Oklahoma to Arkansas after Lincoln Riley left Oklahoma to become the head coach at USC and he had 59 catches for 702 yards and three touchdowns for the Razorbacks. Ngata had 88 catches for 1,287 yards and six touchdowns over four seasons at Clemson.

LSU cornerback Mekhi Garner, Benedictine tackle Chim Okorafor, Louisville tackle Trevor Reid, Alabama cornerback Eli Ricks, Colorado tight end Brady Russell, Michigan State linebacker Ben VanSumeren, and Kansas State punter Ty Zentner make up the rest of the group.

  1. Well, when you have two of the best WRs in the league, you don’t really need to draft any. I mean, they’ve could’ve drafted for depth in the later rounds but they certainly have/had more pressing needs.

  2. I remember playing against Benedictine when I was in college. It’s cool one of their players is getting a shot.

  3. I really like the guys they got undrafted. VanSumeren has one of the best linebacker RAS scores ever and a guy like that is a great player to get undrafted and try to develop and they got corners that played in the SEC for big schools.

    49ers > Eagles

*Maury Povich voice* The final score from the NFC Championship game determined that TO BE A LIE!

    49ers > Eagles

Deebo Crybaby Samuel showed off his versatility in the NFCCG. Not only did he lose a fumble on a running play he lost another on a passing play. Somehow that performance “earned” him almost $24 million APY extension, which is odd.

Let’s also not forget your overrated coach was dumb enough to use a backup TE to block an All Pro DE.

49ers > Eagles at making poor decisions and then crying about those poor decisions for months
