The NFL’s Christmas Day slate will feature a matchup of NFC East rivals.

Wednesday brought word that the Giants will be in Philadelphia to face the Eagles on Monday, December 25. The Week 16 game will kick off at 4:30 p.m. ET on Fox.

There will be two other games on Christmas Day as the NFL holds its first Monday tripleheader. The other games will be announced on Thursday.

The Eagles and Giants played three times during the 2022 season. The Eagles won 48-22 at MetLife Stadium in Week 14 and picked up a 22-16 home win to clinch the top seed in the NFC playoffs in Week 18. The final matchup came in the divisional round of the playoffs and the Eagles rolled to a 38-7 win in that matchup.

  1. I’m telling the boss lady that I can open and work lunch Christmas Day, but dinner and/or a double isn’t doable. Go Birds!

Eagles will be below .500 at this point with their hangover.

  3. Yeah, Xmas isn’t Thanksgiving. Football all day on Christmas won’t work in our household. Not in a million years. Also, I’ll bet the NBA loves the notion of football taking over their traditional holiday!

  4. It’s a dirty job beating up on the New Jersey Giants, but somebody’s gotta do it.

  5. Merry Christmas, Boston Scott.

The NFL just gifted you 2 touchdowns and 120 yards!!

  6. Without New Jersey the Eagles wouldn’t have any fans, everyone in Pennsylvania prefers the Steelers.

I’m not agreeing with the OP at all but considering their referencing a hangover from the super bowl loss(the last game they’ve played) I’m not really sure what you expect them to have been paying attn to 🤷‍♂️

  8. Maybe leave the hillbilly part of the state and you’d know that’s a joke

trying to figure out what you think that you are saying. That people who don’t live Philly like the Eagles? People who don’t live in Pittsburgh, like Maryland, like the Steelers, etc.
Do yourself a favor, draw an 80 mile circle from the NFL city in question, you’ll see different states inside all those circles. Turns out, that is where the TV coverage reaches.
You see, the radio broadcast waves don’t realize they are crossing state lines…the fans are traditionally up to 80 miles around a city center. But traditionally that is what the fanbases were made of…
Today, with streaming, those traditional lines go all over the globe.(Yeah, “Holy challenge flag batman”)

  10. Yes it was, both ways…
