The Vikings have added two players who participated in their rookie minicamp on a tryout basis.

Minnesota announced on Tuesday that the club has signed fullback Zach Ojile and offensive lineman Sam Schlueter.

Ojile played his college ball at Minnesota-Duluth, where he caught 25 passes for 289 yards with five touchdowns and had 12 carries for 53 yards with three TDs.

Schlueter spent time with the 49ers and the Jets last season after playing right tackle and left tackle collegiately at Minnesota.

  1. Sounds like two local hopefuls that’ll be camp bodies and long shots to even make the first cuts. So basically the next two Adam Thielens, lol

Second Easiest roster to make in the entire NFL. Packers would be first.

    There.. fixed if for ya.

  3. Ummm, hello guys?

    Cards fan here

When your roster gets down to that, we can talk

  4. After not firing Donatell before week five last year and trading away or letting walk the limited talent they had and somehow getting even worse on defense, I’m starting to wonder if the Vikings made another mistake with hiring this head coach and GM. Will they waste another 8 years hoping these two miraculously figure it out?

  5. If these two kids were on the packers they would end up in their HOF.

Well they’d certainly be a step closer, as they’d be better coached.

  7. These two kids would have a better shot at a super bowl ring with the Packers. History hasn’t been kind to our Vikings.
